Youth and Mission Opportunity

Is your group interested in a work team in the southern part of West Virginia? Are you looking for a clean, safe, economical place to stay? Oak Hill UMC can accommodate your group. The Oak Hill United Methodist Church, in cooperation with West Virginia Volunteers in Mission and the Lewis Community Center, are working together to repair houses in Fayette County, WV. We offer a newly renovated Lewis Community Center for an affordable $25 per day per person or $150 per week per person. This price includes lodging, use of the facility, a kitchen, restrooms, showers and materials and supplies.

We are located in Oak Hill, West Virginia; minutes off Rt. 19, just north of Beckley and south of Summersville. We are minutes away from many, many outdoor activities including rock climbing, camping, whitewater river activities, and hiking.

We also have whitewater rafting contacts offering greatly reduced rates. You will want to relax after your hard work is done.
